Great Horned Owl

Great Horned Owl is found in North America. It is also called as the tiger owl or hoot owl. It can camouflage itself well and feeds on rodents,mice, rabbits and hares and other mid-sized mammals, reptiles and other invertebrates. Their horns are neither ears nor horns but only tufts of feathers.

They are the most adaptable owls, can be found in forests, swamps, urban areas, deserts, rocky coasts and so on. Read more at Wikipedia
