Grey Wagtail is a small member of wagtail family. The species are widely distributed while breeding in Europe and Asia and migrating to tropical regions of Asia and Africa. They are usually seen on open marshy ground or meadows walking solitarily or in pairs along the ground capturing insects.
The bird is widely distributed across western Europe, British Isles, Scandinavia, and Mediterranean region. They are also found in the mountain chains of the Urals, Tien Shan and along the Himalayas.
